Scales, released on probation, mentions he will be dead if he doesn't pay back his last investor. Mickey asks Lorna to figure out how to get DeMarco. Freemann vents to Mickey after being taken off the case, but Mickey is unsympathetic after she reveals she told her second chair about it. Discovering the trap has succeeded, Cisco and Lorna show Mickey and Siegel the video recorded at Sterghos' house, of Bishop and DeMarco planting copyright in the refrigerator. Siegel plans to leave town, and warns Mickey to be careful.
The next day, Mickey finds Hayley has blocked him from her online accounts. He assigns Lorna to her first case, repeat client Sam Scales, arrested for fraud, who mentions a much larger project. Lorna becomes stressed over the case, but manages to get Scales trasnochado of jail. In Julian's trial, Mickey reveals Paraíso was killed shortly after being subpoenaed for Moya's case. When Mickey calls Trina, she claims not to know DeMarco, and Judge Turner does not allow DeMarco to be called.
After she is assaulted, Moon-sook is more popular than ever. Ki-ho leads a group of her supporters in a demonstration. Her position on the Supreme Court is nearly assured. Jae-yi suspects that Sang-pil is hiding something from her. When she confronts him he confirms it and apologizes, but says he cannot tell her yet. Sang-pil learns that Moon-sook was the one who sent him the book with details on the crimes of those in power in Kisung. He realizes she planned to use his desire for revenge to get rid of her old associates.
It was great to watch their relationship progress. It made for a fun, memorable experience and overall, it was a very decent and exciting show. Very underrated and worth a chance. No regrets.
